Absolutely loved our stay in Matera! The room's unique cave-like setting was a blast, and breakfast in that beautiful space was a treat. Only downside, dragging our bags down those cobblestone steps was a bit of a workout!

Navigating cobblestone steps with luggage is a real workout!!! Some rooms suffer from humidity issues that can make for an uncomfortable stay!!! Accessibility is a concern, especially for those with mobility issues. Poor Wi-Fi connectivity adds to the frustration!!!

Accessing my room was a nightmare due to the steep, cobblestone streets, making dragging luggage almost impossible. I arrived to an almost empty breakfast bar at 9:30 AM, and the limited selection was disappointing. There was a strange odor lingering in the bathroom, detracting from the overall experience.

The location was unbeatable, just a short stroll from the duomo piazza and conveniently close to various attractions in the Sassi area. Public parking was easily accessible within a ten-minute walk, making travel hassle-free.
I did notice some humidity issues in the room, which could be uncomfortable for some guests.

Couple expect unique stay
The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, making our arrival feel personal and inviting! We were also impressed by the stunning views from our room, perfect for relaxing after a long day.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience, it's still acceptable.
